The "tv head" motion graphic combines facial tracking with 3d graphics. I had to create 3 of these "tv head" motion graphics along with 6 other motion graphics that were created within a 4 week time budget. I must say that was one of my busiest months ever!

Production started out on a green screen studio with duck tape with extra large dots wrapped around my head. Originally we had some smaller tracking dots, but the problem was that they proved hard to see when recording the far shots. So by using extra large dots I was able to track them better even at a distance.

Once all the tracking was done it was then imported into Maya and all the necessary 3d models were lined up to match the background footage. The original plan was to have different facial images to simulate talking or to have some images and movies flash on his face. But due to time restrictions I decided to switch gears and focus more on the background elements.

Because of the nature and restrictions of the content I had to re-edit the content from it's original source and strip it's audio and replace it with a simple rap song by Fort Minor.

I gotta say though, the timing was perfect! Totally unexpected but worth it!
