Ok, so I work on a Mac at the office
and most of the work I do is video editing. Recently my computer's
performance has been a little off. Well, I defraged my computer
today, that's right you do need to defrag your Mac! The Mac
automatically defrags files 20 MB and under, well if you're a video
editor or designer like myself, you're working with files way way
way over 20 MB.
So here's the result, you can see the before and after of my computer's hard drive. Oh, and now a lot of problems I was having are now gone, so whoop!
The software used here is iDefrag.
