Thursday, May 7, 2009 A to Z: Anthropomorphism and Zoomorphism Anthropomorphism is the attribution of human forms or characteristics to non-human beings or objects, and zoomorphism is the use of animal forms in the same way. Think: personification of inanimate objects or abstract things such as emotions, machines, shape-shifters, the weather, cars, gods and goddesses, patterns using animal imagery, mythological beings, etc.

Here it is, another illustration in the "Giant Mutant Killer Creatures" series! In this one instead of using toxic waste in liquid form like in previous illustrations, I used it in a smoke form. I thought this would be the best since the birds are in the air instead of on the ground.

Here's an image I created called "Giant Mutant Killer Crab," it's a crab that has been mutated by toxic waste (seen on it's head) into a giant creature who wrecks havoc upon it's environment!

Had a great time attending this art show, got to see a lot of great local artist and artwork. Plus this is was the first time my artwork has been in a local art show.

Started working on some new 3d models for a new motion graphic, so far totally diggin’ the new stylized look! I like the “claymation” or “vinyl toy” look to this one. I have some simple animations going on as well so it should come out pretty neat!

This is a piece done for a gallery opening for the new Hellboy movie coming out this summer! The gallery will be on June 12th at Uberbot in winterpark, FL and will contain hellboy themed artwork from various talented artist! A cool little illustration i was working on while I was bored waiting for some motion graphics to render. He's a character made completely out of gold, i also gave him a speedo to make fun of the style some super hero costumes.
