Today we’re launching a new Sketchy Pictures site! Announcing Sketchy Pictures 3.0!

So what’s new? Well we’re switching web hosting providers for one. I’ve been having lots of problems with my last hosting plan, some of you may have noticed a lot of downtown with the site. After several months of going back and forth with the previous hosting provider and getting no results I decided to jump ship. So if you notice any problems while visiting please bare with me while I get everything situated.

What else is new...TUTORIALS! I’ve been getting lots of buzz from my tutorials so I’ve decided to add a few more for all you hungry for more information. Along with old favorites I’ve also added a Nuke and Cinema 4d section.

I’ve gone through and re-organized my site so hopefully it’ll make it easier to get around and find what you’re looking for. I’ve also fixed a few broken links and images.

There are lots of new and cool features so come on in and checkout what’s new!

Started working on some new 3d models for a new motion graphic, so far totally diggin’ the new stylized look! I like the “claymation” or “vinyl toy” look to this one. I have some simple animations going on as well so it should come out pretty neat!

This is a piece done for a gallery opening for the new Hellboy movie coming out this summer! The gallery will be on June 12th at Uberbot in winterpark, FL and will contain hellboy themed artwork from various talented artist! If you’re in the area stop on by and say hi and checkout some of the cool art that will be there!

Just added some new matchmoving and compositing shots to the VFX section. These are some vfx tests for a short film that plans to start production in the winter of 08.

Quick note: Updated the o' demo reels, cut a lot of the fat and inserted more lean meat..yum

Hey all, there are has been some major updates to Sketchy Pictures!

First, new updates to my motion graphics and visual effects sections. All new material and montages to watch! So head on over there to check them out!



Second is a few new tutorials! There is now a Maya section that's been added to the tutorials page!

Also now there has been a major update to the front page of SketchyPictures, you'll notice a nifty new menu at the bottom.

Also I fixed some of broken links I found and updated some movies so they play a little larger, so everything should be up and running better!

Hello loyal followers and new bloggies, i have some exciting news to share! First, my "worm hole in motion" tutorial has made it to the front page of Applemotion.net. I was really excited to see that! This is definitely a great site to check out if your an Apple Motion user!



Also some of you have been sending some very generous emails about some of the tutorials I have, so big thanks there! Speaking of which, I have a few more tutorials coming out soon that I think will really be fun and useful for some of you out there.

Another big news, I made it on the cover of Rapidweaved.com, pretty cool stuff there as well!

Some of my artwork made it onto the Jumbotron today! It was pretty neat seeing some of my work up on a giant display overlooking the campus!

Well it's been awhile but I finally got around to updating some of my show reels! Fresh off the grill is an updated Compositing reel and a brand new Motion Graphics reel.
